Since our May 2012 HBA meeting will be held in Lincoln, Nebraska, there are a couple of options for HBA members to save money on transportation costs.

EWH is a non-profit organization with the mission of improving access to quality healthcare technology for the world's poorest. EWH achieves this mission through various programs, including our BMET Training Program abroad. In this program, EWH hosts training programs in developing countries for local BMETs working in public and charity-based hospitals. This training provides the critical human capacity to repair and maintain the devices that the patients in these countries depend on. . .

The HBA would like to take this opportunity to thank the individuals and organizations below that sponsored our 2011 symposium and vendor fair with their presentations and donations. The event could not have been a success had it not been for your generosity. A big thank you also goes out to Jay Squires and Phil Mininni for working so hard to organize the event. Our attendees were treated to two days of educational presentations, product demonstrations and a fantastic italian dinner by the river. . .
