There is no charge for individual attendees if registered by the deadline. After the deadline, the individual attendee fee will be $25 to cover unanticipated costs. We ask that all attendees register by the deadline so that we can determine the number of meals needed.

Justine O’Neill-Hedlund serves as Healthcare Strategy Analyst with CQuence Health Group. Prior to joining CQuence, Justine provided consulting services to medical practices and health systems participating CMS’ Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative. Justine also has experience in administration of community-based behavioral health programs. Justine holds an MSc in Public Policy & Administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a B.A. in Political Science from Creighton University. She has also received a Lean/Six Sigma BlackBelt- Healthcare professional certificate from Villanova University.

Tim Johnson, Verathon Regional Manager

Tim has been assisting facilities throughout the mountain west and central US states since 2006 to enhance the delivery of safe and effective patient care:

For over 30 years, Verathon has designed, manufactured and marketed pioneering medical devices. Growing from a small start-up in 1984 to a global medical device company supported by Roper Technologies, we’ve stayed true to our vision: to provide access to innovative, unique products and services that deliver a higher standard of clinical and economic utility for providers and the patients that they serve.

Today, our team of about 500 dedicated individuals around the world support healthcare providers in over 60 countries and regions. Tim joins us today after traveling from Castle Rock, CO where he lives with his wife and three children.

Dale Cover, President, RSTI

“Digital Detector Technology”

Dale Cover joined RSTI in 1990.  In his 26 years with RSTI he has held positions as Lab Instructor, Technical Instructor, Senior Instructor and Training Manager.  He served as VP and Director of Training from 2009-2013. In January 2013, Dale was promoted to position of President.

Prior to coming to RSTI, Dale worked as Chief of Technical Operations for a start-up wireless cable company. Dale also served in the US Army for 8 years in the field of Satellite Systems repair.  Other electronics experience includes Field Service with Picker International and Satellite Assembly and Testing with TRW.

Dale received his electronics training in the US Army as well as leadership, equipment maintenance management, instructor and personnel management training.  Dale has been a Certified Radiological Equipment Specialist (CRES#170) and is a Partner at RSTI.  Additionally, Dale serves as a current member of the RSTI Board of Directors.

Cliff White , Services Account Manager with GE Healthcare

“Leveraging Technology for What is Ahead in Healthcare”

Cliff White works for GE Healthcare partnering with Healthcare providers in the Dakotas and Nebraska. He spent his time prior to GE working in the heart of the sub-prime mortgage crisis where he got a taste for complex problems. Before that he cursed the Cornhuskers in the Black and Gold of the University of Colorado. He lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with a wife and two boys that are probably running around here somewhere, they are very hard to keep track of.

Jim Rickner, Training Director for Conquest Imaging

"How to Evaluate Image Quality using a Phantom"

Jim has over 20 years of experience working on variety of electronic equipment.  His experience includes repairing and operating flight simulators, specialty aircraft avionics, destructive material testing instruments and a variety of ultrasound systems.  He has worked for Conquest Imaging over ten years and was the Senior Field Service Engineer prior to becoming the Training Director.  Jim has attended all courses offered at Conquest Imaging for GE, Philips, Siemens, and ATL and has repaired a variety of others.  He has earned degrees in Electronics, Scientific Analysis and Instructor of Technology.  In addition to his degrees, he has attended courses that have allowed him to become a Certified Quality Management Facilitator and a Coach for the Dale Carnegie Course: Effective Communications & Human Relations/Skills for Success.  He is an active state board member for the California Medical Instrumentation Association (CMIA).  Jim is also the Lead Technical Support Specialist for Conquest Imaging, providing 24/7 technical support for ultrasound to customers nationwide.

Randy Cook, Director, Quality Management and Support at RS&A

Randy joined RS&A in 2015.  Prior to that, he spent 25+ years with Varian Medical Systems supporting installations, service, and National Tech Support (NTS).  He lives in Denver, CO with his wife (Deb), son (Alex), and pets.

Mr. Kotapuri is responsible for the overall design and development of clinical engineering products and solutions customizable to customer needs and requirements, including service delivery. Mr. Kotapuri is responsible from idea to launch through sustainability of all clinical engineering products and solutions and will lead, oversee and manage all aspects of clinical technology lifecycle.
Prior to joining Mass Technologies, Mr. Kotapuri served as a Chief Clinical Technology Officer at Lifeline Clinical Engineering Solutions, as Director of Clinical Technology Planning at Geisinger Health System with responsibility to plan and lead clinical technology acquisition process. Mr. Kotapuri oversaw clinical technology planning, assessment, standardization and optimization initiatives. Mr. Kotapuri also served as Chief Clinical Engineer for MasterPlan at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In this position, he managed all aspects of clinical engineering and was instrumental in converting the biomedical shop into a clinical engineering department for service strategy management of biomedical, imaging and laboratory instrumentation. Mr. Kotapuri gained experience in clinical engineering, working for employers in India, Malaysia, Singapore, Mauritius, Canada and the United States. He managed, analysed and solved technical, financial, personnel, and clinical issues. Mr. Kotapuri has worked for hospitals, independent service organizations, original equipment manufacturers and turn-key hospital contractors. He is versatile with various financial, technical and managerial decision analysis tools, including process evaluation and improvement studies using Six Sigma, Total Productivity Management, Lean Processes, Artificial Intelligence and Neural Solutions, TCO of new technology and its impact, Life Cycle Cost analysis of existing technology, Return On Investment, Productivity analysis, Project management and virtual reality tools for efficient workflow modelling.
Mr. Kotapuri holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from India, Master of Science in Engineering from Ohio University and is currently pursuing PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering, focusing on re-engineering healthcare from Wayne State University. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and Society of Engineering in Medicine and Biology. Mr. Kotapuri is a Certified Clinical Engineer who has attained Professional Engineer status in Canada and Charted Engineer (Interim) status through the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM) of Engineering Council UK.
While gaining experience in the field, Mr. Kotapuri also had the privilege of contributing back to the clinical engineering community through articles, seminars and presentations, and promoting clinical engineering as a career among students.

Julio’s responsibilities in sales also include traveling to biomedical associations presenting technical and educational information to the biomedical engineering community.  His background is in electronics, whose career started as an electronics technician in 1988 and has held a wide range of positions in the medical industry including service engineer, service manager, and in sales and marketing over the past 25 years.
