Pronk Technologies Partners with HBA

Pronk Technologies is pleased to announce a partnership with the Heartland Biomedical Association (HBA). We are launching a program we call “Pronk It Forward”. It is designed to support local Healthcare Technology Management Association’s (HTMA) efforts in providing its members with educational and scholarship opportunities. It is with this in mind that we will donate a percentage of Pronk product sales that occur in Nebraska and Western Iowa between September 1, 2017 and November 30, 2017, to the HBA.

The HBA Symposium held August 17-19, 2017 was a great success. There was fun, prizes, great food and even better educational presentations.

March 2017 Meeting

CHI Health Immanuel

The March 15, 2017 HBA meeting was held at CHI Health Immanuel.

The presenter for the meeting was Robert Van Ausdal. Robert is a Neurointerventional technician at CHI Health Immanuel which has recently opened a new Stroke/Neuroendovascular program. Robert and a Stryker Neurovascular representative presented the procedure and products used to remove brain clots as well as for aneurysm treatments. A simulator was also available for members to trial their Neuroendovascular Surgery skills.

January 2017 Meeting

CHI Health Lakeside

Our Kickoff presenter for the 2017 HBA Season was Jim Goodwin from Interstate Batteries. Jim, is a long time vendor partner for many of us in the field. 30 attendees were there for his presentation on Batteries: Chemistries, Characteristics, & Best Practices. His presentation answered many questions about batteries in general and taught all of us a few new things about battery use and care.
