Healthcare Technology Management Week is designed to promote the awareness of—and appreciation for—the critical work of biomedical equipment technicians (BMETs), clinical engineers, and other members of the healthcare technology management (HTM) field.

The Heartland Biomedical Association hosted its annual educational symposium and vendor fair on November 1st and 2nd at Alegent Creighton Lakeside Hospital. Attendees enjoyed presentations from speakers on a variety of subjects over nearly two days. This year's event included a vendor fair attended by nationally recognized companies affiliated with the healthcare and medical equipment repair fields.

Dr. Sanjay P. Singh, MD Confirmed For September, 2012 HBA Meeting

The HBA is happy to announce that Dr. Sanjay Singh has been confirmed to present at the September, 2012 HBA meeting. Dr. Singh is fellowship trained in Epilepsy & Seizure Disorders and is the chairman of the Department of Neurology for the Creighton University School of Medicine. Dr. Singh was the director of the Epilepsy Center at UNMC/Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha and has completed numerous clinical research projects on medical and surgical treatment of epilepsy.
