Thank you for choosing me to receive the Heartland Biomedical Association Scholarship. I am currently
receiving no financial aid, and am relying entirely on scholarships as well as my own income from my
two part time jobs and freelancing to pay for my tuition.

I am currently enrolled in the electrical engineering program at lowa Western, and I already have a
degree in audio engineering, again from lowa Western.

Thanks to your donor investment, I will be able to focus more on my studies and internship
opportunities, rather than worrying about having enough hours on each pay-period to pay for monthly
tuition.

Thanks,
Devin Bolen
