Ed Castaldo, a dedicated professional in the medical device industry, currently holds the position of Technical Service Supervisor at Medtronic. With over a decade of experience dedicated to technical service and support, Ed has risen through the ranks, leading two crucial teams. His first team specializes in technical service for patient monitoring devices, while the second excels in supporting remote monitoring solutions, including Vital Sync. Ed's leadership is characterized by a strong customer-centric approach, ensuring that healthcare facilities receive top-tier technical service and support, upholding the integrity of patient care. Ed's journey in the medical device industry reflects his commitment to excellence. With Medtronic, he has played pivotal roles on international cross-functional teams, successfully identifying and resolving critical service issues. Ed pioneered a data-driven approach to service, improving efficiency and precision. He has personally supported numerous biomedical engineers and healthcare facilities, offering his deep knowledge in a wide array of medical devices, such as Nellcor, Capnostream, INVOS, BIS, and Warmtouch, among others.
