Patrick Fischer

I have been in healthcare for 9 years, starting out as a Clinical Engineer at Children’s Nebraska cutting my teeth on biomedical device management and services. Then moving to Philips Healthcare as an engineer, consultant, and finally as an infrastructure architect, specializing in patient monitoring, data analytics and integration. I am now working for Palo Alto Networks in their Healthcare vertical looking at cyber security challenges in healthcare. I would like to spend some time with you all discussing cyber security in healthcare, from organizational trends and challenges to the current state of clinical/biomedical engineering and how all of this culminates into the security challenges around us every day.

The meeting will be held at CUMC Bergan, Gallagher/Monen Conference Center "A". Enter the conference center from the Maternity Entrance, turn left, past the library.
